As your coach, I believe it's important for you to have an idea of the experiences that have contributed to who I am as a coach.
At the age of 24, I became a civil litigation attorney in Manhattan because I wanted to help people achieve their goals in the legal world. A few years later, I opened my own law firm and I did very well. I made a nice salary and I had plenty of time to go on dates and enjoy NYC. But, as great as it was, all along I knew there was a career out there that would be more consistent with my deep desire to help women get everything they want in life.
Shortly after I turned 30, my father became very ill and I started spending a lot of time with my parents. They are a fantastic team and they have been married for over 40 years. Spending time with them reminded me how incredible it is to go through life with someone who deeply loves you and knows you and who you feel the same way for. I was very affected by this time in my life and I realized that I needed to make big changes in both my personal life and my career.
I then began a search to find a career where I could take my favorite part of being an attorney, guiding people towards success, and my most passionate desire, helping women become happily married like my parents, and make a living from it.
From the moment I learned about coaching, I was hooked and I recognized that it was my calling. Was I scared to walk away from a successful business to start a new career that not many people were familiar with? Absolutely. But, I knew it was right and I knew with every cell in my body that I could make it work.
In 2006, I completed my training with the Coach Training Alliance and through them I learned how to use the most effective coaching tools to help my clients grow into the successful women they are meant to be. I have since went on to complete the Sage and Scholar's Program for Coaching Singles and their Program for Career Coaching. Both advanced training programs helped me sharpen my ability to coach women to excel professionally and marry Mr. Right.
My education and experiences as both a life coach and an attorney have enabled me to help young women start businesses, advance in their careers, have more fulfilling relationships, expand their social networks, marry Mr. Right, feel phenomenal, and appreciate all of the good fortune they have.
I have always read books on the fastest, and easiest, ways to achieve goals and to finally have a career that is consistent with who I am on a deep level is more rewarding than I ever dreamed of. I love what I do, I am good at it, and I know it's my purpose in life.
